Bert's story
Last April my smart was hit by an 83 Chevy flatbed truck. I hardly felt it inside the car and while it ruined some panels and some of the front wheel suspension parts, it didn't hurt the car at all structurally. However,the big old 15" bumper on the truck was pushed back into it's fender and the fender back into the tire. While I hated to have my two month old smart in an accident, it gave me a lot of confidence in the integrity of my smart.
